As of September 10, 12 noon my artwork will be on display for sale at cre8ery gallery and studio located at 125 Adelaide St, 2nd fl., until Saturday October 14, 3pm. cre8ery is free and open to the public Tues and Thurs, 12-8pm; Wed, Fri, Sat, 12-5pm.
In addition to their regular viewing hours, there are receptions scheduled on September 19, 7-10pm and October 3, 7-10 pm to celebrate the artworks in the gallery.

A big "thank you" to everyone who attended, volunteered at or made a donation to this year's fundraising dinner "Taste of Laos"!
Thanks to all of you and our generous donors from Manitoba, USA and Singapore we raised a total of $13,000 which will help build the school in Viengkham village in Laos. We are now over 50% of the way to our goal of $60,000!

SKL Inc. is proud to announce the official opening of the new school building at Viengkham Lower Secondary School. The village of Viengkham is located 2 1/2 hours drive north of the capital, Vientiane. The school accommodates 235 students, many of whom were housed in a dilapidated structure. They are thrilled to move into their brand new SKL building. SKL's contribution to the campus also includes sanitary washrooms and a deep well water supply.

Radio-Canada Television's documentary featuring SKL Inc.'s humanitarian works in Laos will be broadcast on Monday, September 2, 2013 at 6:30 PM CST on Radio-Canada Television (CBC - French).
The documentary was produced by veteran video journalist Denis Chamberland who accompanied SKL Inc. on its December 2012 school inauguration trip. The documentary also showcases Father Gérard Dionne's works in Laos.
